Haloumi & Prosciutto Bites

  • Serves 6-8
  • Preparation time: 15 minutes
  • Cooking time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 360g Lemnos Haloumi, cut into 1cm-thick batons
  • 1 tbs coarsely chopped oregano
  • 10 prosciutto slices
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
  • Oregano sprigs, to serve

Method:

  1. Preheat a chargrill on high. Combine the haloumi and oregano in a large bowl; gently toss to combine.
  2. Use a small sharp knife to slice each prosciutto slice lengthways into 1cm-thick strips. Carefully wrap a strip of prosciutto around each haloumi baton. Lightly brush with oil.
  3. Cook haloumi on chargrill for 1 minute each side or until lightly charred. Transfer to a platter. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and oregano sprigs.
